NEW TEAM IN AS CHAMPIONS WITHDRAW

It's always disappointing when any side has to leave one of our leagues, when it's the reigning champions and a group of great guys it's even more sad. JJFC have been part of the set up in Sandown for a long time and whilst they have usually won they have always done so with grace and a touch of class, never bragging and rarely has there been any issues with them as a team. Unfortunately, due to a number of their key players departing the area to go travelling it's not going to be possible for them to continue. We obviously wish them well and hope to see the team back at some point in the future. 

Coming in to take their place are Hayden and his team Grimsby Town FC, they have featured in the last few match nights as a fill in team but now they get their chance to join the premier league on a permanent basis. We wish them luck for their 1st game and for the remainder of the Sandown season.
