The Sandown Monday 6-a-side Football League witnessed yet another riveting week of action, as week 5 of the season lit up with goals, drama, and stellar individual performances. Some teams cemented their positions at the top of the table, while others fought hard to climb up the ranks in the Premier League division.


In a high-scoring encounter, Sat Fesh FC overwhelmed Ben Mee Over with a resounding 11-6 victory. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork and tactical prowess, Sat Fesh FC showcased why they are not to be taken lightly in this league.


Meanwhile, Granit Shagger and Surf N Turf found themselves neck and neck, each refusing to give in. The match ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, reflecting the tenacity and resilience of both teams.


The highest goal-scoring match of the week saw Roverners triumph over Thunder FC with an impressive scoreline of 17-7. The Roverners dominated the game from start to finish, leaving no room for Thunder FC to recover.


The match between Itch Isak and Whats Rob Holding also ended in a tense 5-5 draw, showing the evenly matched strengths of both teams.


The star performer of the week, however, was Joshua Woodnutt of the Roverners. He scored a whopping total of 7 goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week. Not only did he play an instrumental role in Roverners' victory, but his consistent performance also earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
