Sandown Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 8

In a thrilling week 8 of the Sandown Monday Football League, the Premier League division was alight with action, records and outstanding performances. The evening left spectators and fans on the edge of their seats, with goals galore peppering the night.

The Exeter Gently took out the Roverners in a robust 6-1 victory, thanks to their tactical prowess and exceptional footwork. Despite the Roverners' best efforts, Exeter Gently's solid defence and counter-attacks were simply too much to handle.

Meanwhile, the Ben Mee Over team asserted their dominance in a sensational 10-3 rout of Thunder FC. Thanh Vu emerged as the star of the match, netting an impressive total of six goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for this week. Vu's incredible pace, agility and precision in front of the net were indeed a sight to behold.

A spectacular showdown was also witnessed between Sat Fesh FC and Whats Rob Holding. The former team displayed an offensive masterclass to secure a 12-1 victory, putting their opponents firmly on the back foot throughout the match.

However, the true standout player of the week hailed from Granit Shagger. Liam Reynolds was deemed the most valued player of the week, proving instrumental in his team's performance. Despite not featuring in the highest-scoring matches, Reynolds' exceptional skill, leadership, and commitment on the pitch were enough to secure this coveted recognition.

The Sandown Monday Football League continues to be a thrilling spectacle for local football fans, providing a platform for local athletes to showcase their talent. As we move beyond week 8, the competition is heating up, and we can only anticipate more action-packed football in the weeks to come.
