Salisbury Monday 6 a side news 2025-05-12

SALISBURY - It was the ninth week of the Salisbury Monday 6 a side Football league and the competition only seems to be intensifying. 


Division 1

Lavvy 6s dominated The Goofy Slugs with a 9-1 victory, while Valley 6s suffered an 11-0 defeat at the hands of SCS All Stars. Tension escalated during the Big Mac Tacklers versus Elite FC match, resulting in a narrow 7-6 victory for the Tacklers. The highlight of the division was Tim Jarvis of SCS All Stars, who netted an impressive 5 goals, thereby topping the scoring charts for the week.

Division 2

50 Shades O Shea triumphed over SDH Ultras, 5-2, while Winless FC and Queens Park Strangers ended in a 2-2 draw. Lads And Dads showed excellent form, defeating Dad Bods 6-0. The top goal scorer in this division was Ian Webber from Lads and Dads bagging 3 goals.

Division 3 

Presented some nail-biting encounters this week. Balatasaray 6s took down Blenders United 3-1, Boscombe On Me ran over Team 1 with a 6-1 victory, and Deans Boys beat Sam N Kids 5-2. Alex Mitchell of Boscombe on me was the top scorer for the division with 3 goals.

The star of the week was undoubtedly Nick Lumber from Deans Boys, who was declared the Most Valued Player for his exceptional performance. His agile ball-handling skills and strategic gameplay significantly contributed to his team's victory.

As the Salisbury Monday 6 a side Football league progresses into its tenth week, fans are eagerly anticipating more thrilling encounters between the teams. The players’ tenacity and passion for the game promise an exciting season ahead.
