The Salisbury Monday 6-a-side football league continued to provide thrilling action as it reached its sixth week, featuring some standout performances from players across three divisions.
Division 1
Elite FC delivered an outstanding performance with an 8-2 victory over Lads And Dads. The star of the match was Eben Burton, who netted an impressive 4 goals for his team, becoming the top scorer in the division for this week. SCS All Stars and No Pace Just Grace provided a nail-biter as well, with the former edging out a 5-4 victory. Net Six And Chill also claimed victory, beating Sam N Kids 5-3.
Division 2
Saw Sporting FDC's Tobie Keel shine with a hat trick, contributing significantly to their 6-1 win over SRC. Balatasaray 6s showed dominance over 50 Shades O Shea with a 5-0 victory, whilst Python6s overcame Winless FC 8-3. The Goofy Slugs also had reason to celebrate, triumphing 4-2 over Gateway FC.
Division 3
Kieran Pearce of Queens Park Strangers helped his team secure a 7-2 victory over Dad Bods, scoring 3 goals and taking the top scorer title for this week. Blenders United had a solid 5-2 win over Boscombe On Me, Team 1 beat Boys In Black 4-2, and Deans Boys narrowly defeated Cabin Fever 2-1.
The standout player of the week across all divisions was George Mcmaster from Team 1. His stellar performance on the pitch earned him the title of Most Valued Player for this week, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination that bolstered his team's performance.
