In a thrilling week 9 of the Salisbury Monday Football League, teams across Divisions 1, 2 and 3 battled it out fiercely under the stadium lights.
In Division 1, Elite FC demonstrated their dominance on the pitch, shutting out No Pace Just Grace with an impressive 4-0 win. Meanwhile, Sam N Kids were victorious against Lavvy 6s, seizing a 5-3 win, with the team's Leon Blackburn scoring a total of five goals to become the top scorer in the division. The match between Net Six And Chill and Lads And Dads ended in a clean 4-0 win for Net Six And Chill. The final match of the division saw a high-scoring encounter between SCS All Stars and SDH Ultras, with the Ultras edging out the All Stars 6-4.
Moving on to Division 2, Gateway FC fell 2-0 to 50 Shades O Shea, while Sporting FDC and Python6s fought to a 2-2 draw. Balatasaray 6s triumphed over SRC with a 4-1 win, with Ejay Smith scoring three goals to secure his place as the division's top scorer. The Goofy Slugs narrowly lost 2-1 to Winless FC, rounding off the night's matches in Division 2.
In Division 3, Dad Bods triumphed over Blenders United with a 5-2 win. Deans Boys clinched a nail-biting 6-5 win against Boys In Black, while Cabin Fever overwhelmed Boscombe On Me with an 8-4 victory. In this division, George Moody of Cabin Fever shone with five goals to his name as the top scorer. Queens Park Strangers and Team 1 ended their game in a 5-5 draw.
