Salisbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 9

The ninth week of the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side football league was nothing short of thrilling, with unexpected results and impressive performances across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Lavvy 6s led the charge with an astounding 12-0 victory over Downton Dingleberries. The top performer was Jake Budgell, who netted an impressive five goals for Lavvy 6s. There were also great performances from Injury FC and Net Six And Chill, who won their games 5-0 and 8-2, respectively while Elite and Balatasaray 6s drew 2-2.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Goofy Slugs stole the show with their extraordinary 18-1 win over Winless FC. Kylan Noonan put on a standout performance, contributing a whopping six goals to the team’s tally. In a close encounter, Python6s edged out Barely Athletic by 5-4. In other games Ball Busters beat 50 Shades 3-2 while No Pace No Grace defeated Pathetico Madrid 11-1.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, the action was no less intense. RIP On Fc and Dad Bods drew a thrilling game 4-4. Amongst the goal scorers, RIP on fc's Tyler Brown stood out with his hat-trick. Team 1 went top with a 3-1 win over QPS, Boys In Black produced a 3-2 win against Lads and Dads while Gateway and Boscombe shared the points after a 2-2 draw.

The most valued player of the week was Aidan Mcmullan from Balatasaray 6s. Mcmullan's performance was key in securing a 2-2 draw against Elite FC in the Premier League division. His outstanding skills on the field truly underscored why the player is held in high regard.

This week’s results have only heightened the intrigue surrounding the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side football league. The coming weeks promise more excitement and top-tier football as teams across the divisions vie for the title.
