Salisbury Monday 6 a side news New Season Kicks Off!

The first week of the highly anticipated Salisbury Monday 6-a-side Football League kicked off with some intense matches and impressive performances across the divisions of the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

Premier League
In the Premier League, The Goofy Slugs edged out Balatasaray 6s with a slim 1-0 victory. Meanwhile, Ball Busters exhibited an offensive masterclass, defeating Team 1 with a scoreline of 6-3. Lavvy 6s and Net Six And Chill also secured victories against Python6s and PBM respectively, by an identical score of 5-3. The top scorer in this division, who led his team to an impressive start of the season, still remains unnamed leaving much suspense for the weeks to come.

Division 1
In Division 1, the match of the day was a nail-biting encounter between Salisbury Scrotums and Boys In Black, with the former narrowly clinching a 6-5 victory. SDH Ultras fell to 50 Shades O Shea 3-6, while RIP On Fc secured a solid 3-0 win against Downton Dingleberries. Mercers Warriors and Elite FC battled out to a 2-2 draw. Division 2
Rounding up the week in Division 2, Winless FC registered a 3-2 win over Barely Athletic while Dad Bods were toppled by Queens Park Strangers 3-2. Gateway FC outplayed Pathetico Madrid 5-3, and No Pace Just Grace outscored Lads And Dads 4-2. The top scorer in Division 2 made a significant contribution to his team's victory but his name remains under wraps for now.
