Salisbury Monday 6 a side news new season kicks off!

In the thrilling opening week of the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side Football League, numerous teams across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 showed their prowess on the field, setting the tone for a competitive season.

Premier League
In the Premier League, Balatasaray 6s made a formidable start, sweeping past Six On The Beach with a 3-0 victory. Similarly, Ball Busters dominated the field against Net Six And Chill with a 4-1 win. The match between Little Man FC and Bells Endz FC was intensely contested, with Bells Endz FC clinching a narrow 4-3 victory.

Division 1
Division 1 saw an equally exciting start with The Goofy Slugs outscoring 50 Shades O Shea 7-6 in an edge-of-the-seat match. Salisbury Scrotums trumped Boys In Black 5-1, while Gateway FC outclassed PBM with a 5-1 win. In another exhilarating match, Mercers Warriors overcame Pathetico Madrid with a score of 5-3.

Division 2
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Barely Athletic secured a solid 7-1 win against Winless FC, and Downton Dingleberries defeated Queens Park Strangers 4-1. The highest scoring match of the evening took place between No Pace Just Grace and Lads And Dads, with the former emerging victorious with a 7-2 score.

Unfortunately, the top scorers for each division are yet to be officially announced, but based on the clusters of goals witnessed in the opening week, it's evident that the competition is fierce. Football fans can look forward to a compelling season, and may the best team win.
