Salisbury Monday 6 a side - WEEK 2 ROUND UP

In the thrilling week 2 of the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side Football league, we were treated to a spectacle of goals, stellar performances, and unpredictable results.


In Division 1, Lavvy 6s showed their dominance with a convincing 4-1 victory over Beme Vets. The star of the show was Jake Budgell, scoring an impressive hat trick, making him the top scorer in Division 1 this week. His performance was a key factor in Lavvy 6s' triumph, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season.

Meanwhile, The Goofy Slugs were engaged in a heart-stopping face off against SCS All Stars. The match ended in a narrow 5-4 victory for The Goofy Slugs. It was a match that kept all involved on edge till the end, exemplifying the adrenaline-filled atmosphere of the league.

In Division 2, the battle between Backyard UTD and Lads And Dads ended in a 6-2 score in favour of Backyard UTD. In another match, Dad Bods and Petra FC couldn't be separated as they played out a 3-3 draw. Hotspire FC and Pique Blinders also shared the spoils in a 5-5 draw. However, the most sensational match of the division was Winless FC's 11-2 thrashing of The Misfits. Gabriel Davies of Winless FC was the standout performer, netting three goals to become the top scorer in Division 2 this week.

The week's most valued player accolade went to Callum Ferguson from Hotspire FC. His tireless efforts, exceptional skill and determination were instrumental in his team's performance, earning him this prestigious recognition.
