Salisbury Monday 6 a side - WEEK 5 NEWS

Monday evening was abuzz with the excitement of week five of Salisbury's six-a-side football league. We bore witness to a rollercoaster of competitive clashes and stunning individual performances in Division 1, setting the tone for the weeks to come.

SCS All Stars and Backyard UTD kicked off the evening in a closely contested battle, which saw SCS All Stars clinching a narrow victory with a 2-1 scoreline. Backyard UTD put up a valiant fight but fell short in the end.

However, the night's highest scoring match was an absolute masterclass display by Pique Blinders, triumphing 7-2 over Barely Athletic. Here, Callum Wohler, the league's top scorer and now the most valued player of the week, netted an impressive hat-trick, singlehandedly dominating the game and firmly establishing Pique Blinders' authority on the league table.

The Goofy Slugs faced a tough night against Pumbappes Snow Bunnies, which ended in a solid 6-0 defeat. It was a night of narrow margins for Man Titty and Winless FC, with the former edging out a 2-1 win, while Beme Vets overcame Petra FC with a 3-2 victory.

In another nail-biting finish, Brazilliant managed to squeeze past Lavvy 6s with a 2-1 win. The final match of the night brought together Lads And Dads and Dad Bods, ending with Dad Bods emerging as victors, courtesy of a 3-2 win.
