Title: "Exciting Week 6 for Shrewsbury Monday 6 a side Football League"

It was a great round of action at Shrewsbury Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always

In the Premier League division, the action kicked off with Gen Z securing a thrilling 4-2 victory over Masala FC, thanks in large part to a stellar performance from Jack Jones who scored twice. Elsewhere, Hardly Athletic and Verve FC could not be separated, concluding their match in a 1-1 draw. Goals Aloud ran riot against KFC, not conceding any goals and winning with a comfortable 4-0 margin. In the final match, Gooners suffered a narrow 0-1 loss to Buzzards.

The Division 1 games were equally exhilarating. Halfway Wanderers fought hard but ended up losing to CR7DALE 3-7. In another high-scoring match, Grange R Us fell short against Straw Hats 3-5. FC Shrewbacca did not fare any better, losing to SouthSide Rednexs 1-4. The final game between Wetherspoons Wanderers and Ellesmere Rangers ended in a goalless draw.
