Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was a fantastic evening of action at Shrewsbury Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.

In the Premier League, the Buzzards and Gen Z delivered a nail-biting match that ended in a 1-1 draw. Verve FC edged out Goals Aloud in a tightly-contested match that ended 4-3 in favor of Verve FC. KFC triumphed over Masala FC in a high scoring game that ended 8-5, with Jay from KFC stealing the spotlight with a spectacular performance, scoring six goals and becoming the top scorer for the division. The final match of the Premier League saw Hardly Athletic secure a 4-2 win over Gooners, rounding off a night of exciting football action.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the Straw Hats sailed to victory with a 3-0 win over CR7DALE, with Sam from the Straw Hats bagging two goals and clinching the top scorer spot for the division. Wetherspoons Wanderers beat FC Shrewbacca 2-0, while Ellesmere Rangers claimed victory over Grange R Us with a 4-1 scoreline. The SouthSide Rednexs brought the division’s games to a close with a 3-0 win over Halfway Wanderers.
