Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the latest action from the Shrewsbury Monday 6-a-side Football League, the competition heated up in both the Premier League and Division 1 during the fourth week of the season.

In the Premier League, Gen Z showed their mettle with a solid 3-1 victory over the SouthSide Rednexs. The star of the match was Brooklyn Makotose, whose two-goal contribution not only secured the win for Gen Z but also propelled him to the top of the division's scoring charts for the week. Gen Z's victory was further complemented by Hardly Athletic's dominant 3-0 triumph over KFC.

There were also tight contests between Buzzards and Goals Aloud, and Straw Hats and WBS FC, with both matches ending in 2-1 victories for Goals Aloud and WBS FC respectively.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the match of the week was undoubtedly between Wetherspoons Wanderers and Grange R Us, with the latter just managing to edge out a 3-2 victory. Ellesmere Rangers also pulled off a clean 1-0 win against Halfway Wanderers.

The showstealer in Division 1, however, was FC Shrewbacca's sensational 4-0 win over CR7DALE. The star player, undoubtedly, was Reece, who netted two of the four goals for FC Shrewbacca, earning him the title of top scorer for Division 1 this week.
