In an electrifying week of the Shrewsbury Thursday 6-a-side Football League, team performances kept spectators on the edge of their seats with high scoring games and unexpected upsets across the divisions.
The Premier League saw a thrilling face-off as Magpies On Tour edged past OBL FC in a close match with a scoreline of 3-2. Mo Leicester continued their triumphant run, demonstrating their superiority with a convincing 5-2 victory over WEMERDALE. Thomas Devonport of Mo Leicester showcased his striking prowess, netting four goals to become the top scorer in the division.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Super Sonic FC narrowly defeated ABP FC 2-1 in a nail-biting match. The Foxy Boys claimed victory over Masala FC with a score of 3-2 in another tough encounter. However, it was Matt Robinson of Masala FC who stood out with his goal-scoring ability, managing to score one goal to become the top scorer of the division.
Over in Division 2, the competition was just as fierce. Net Six And Chill triumphed over Kroos Control with a 4-2 victory, while Grief Athletic matched this score in their win against Openda Legs. The star player was undoubtedly Jack Jones from Grief Athletic, who scored two goals, making him the top scorer for this division.
