Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was a great evening of action in our Shrewsbury Thursday League which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.

In the Premier League, Buzzards soared high against Super Sonic FC with an impressive 5-1 victory. WEMERDALE proved their mettle by defeating Real Supersonic FC with an identical scoreline, exhibiting their strong defence and counter-attacking play. Meanwhile, Net Six And Chill edged past Grief Athletic in a close encounter, winning 1-0. Mo Leicester also put up a commanding performance against Masala FC, securing a 2-0 victory. The Premier League's top scorer of the week was the dynamic George W from WEMERDALE, who netted 3 goals.

The Division 1 matches were equally thrilling. Magpies On Tour and ABP FC battled it out to a 2-2 draw in a tightly contested match. The Foxy Boys showed their dominance over Openda Legs, scoring 5 goals to 1. Skibidi Squad X also secured a narrow win against AFC SHREWBACCA with a 2-1 scoreline. The standout player in Division 1 was Harry Evans from The Foxy Boys, who earned the top scorer title with a commendable total of 3 goals this week.
