It was brilliant to see so many of you enjoying your football at Shrewsbury Leisure Leagues yesterday evening which saw all teams in attendance with the exception of Bayston XI who return next week.
In the Premier League division, a prime highlight was the keenly contested match between MSFC and Buzzards that ended in a 3-3 draw. The game was a testament to the evenly matched abilities of both teams, and the ensuing excitement kept spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the game. Meanwhile, Geog Lads claimed an impressive win over Net 6 And Chill with a score line of 4-2. The Premier League also saw a deadlock between ABP FC and MMH FC, with both teams scoring 2 goals each. A standout player in this division was Ben Roadnight of Leg Difference, who topped the scoring chart with 3 goals.
In Division 1, Goal Diggers faced a tough challenge against The Supersonic FC, with the latter prevailing 3-1. AFC SHREWBACCA emerged victorious, securing a 3-1 win over Bum Phoenix. Salopian Rattlers and The Foxy Boys played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, while Magpies On Tour secured a convincing 3-1 win against Openda Legs. The top goal scorer in this division was golden of AFC SHREWBACCA, who netted an impressive total of 2 goals.
