Monday 9th March - Sittingbourne Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Sittingbourne Monday 6 a side league this week saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all divisions and some superb football on display.

In the Premier League, Goal Diggers FC and MK Dongs battled it out in a match that ended in a goalless draw. The Isle Of Bourne emerged victorious with a 4-0 win over Phoenix, while the game of the night saw Victorious Secret demolish Youth Of Today with a resounding 7-0 victory.

Shifting focus to Division 1, Expected Toulouse triumphed over Cunch Of Bunts FC with a 6-2 victory, owing largely to the stellar performance of Will, who managed to net an impressive four goals, taking top scorer honors for the division. Elsewhere, WASTED TALENTS FC overcame KC Milan 3-1, while The Saints were edged out 2-1 by Pure FC.

In the Division 2 games, FC Walnut saw off Chappers Utd with a 3-0 win, Chubby Alonsos narrowly triumphed over Fleur De Lis 3-2, and Ticklers bagged a 2-1 victory against MLC FC. The standout player was Ryan of Ticklers who became top scorer with two goals.

Division 3 saw its own share of thrilling games with Beaver FC coming out on top against Leavemyarcelona with a scoreline of 4-2, largely due to Jamie's impressive hat-trick, securing him as the division's top scorer. FarmWood FC and Paralympiakos battled to a 1-1 draw, while Saint Rhinos and Pensioners 11 also shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw.

In the Division 4 games, Boshington FC steamrolled Saint Eagles FC 6-0, while Dyche Ball edged Saint Jokerz 1-0. Sondico Fc clinched a 3-1 victory over Saint Reapers, with Alfie of Sondico FC dazzling the spectators with three goals and becoming the top scorer.
