Excitement was in the air last night as the first week of the Sittingbourne Monday 6 a side Football league kicked off, with teams across five divisions - Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4, bringing their best to the field.
In the Premier League, the teams battled fiercely with TIZER CHIEFS and FC Shorejælland ending in a goalless draw. Meanwhile, Isle Of Bourne managed to secure a victory over Sportsyard Fc with a 2-0 scoreline, and Six Offenders and MK Dongs ended in a 2-2 draw. The player to watch in this division is Callum from Six Offenders who already bagged 2 goals in the opening match.
Over at Division 1, Brexit Boys Fc had a dominating 6-0 win over Youth Of Today, while Cunch Of Bunts FC and Phoenix also celebrated victories. Interestingly, Callum from Brexit boys fc emerged as the top scorer with 3 goals, setting a strong pace for the season.
In Division 2, Chubby Alonsos, and Goal Diggers FC were the star performers, with Kane from Chubby Alonsos leading the score charts with 2 goals. Paralympiakos also had an impressive game, scoring 6 goals against Expected Toulouse.
