Week 4 of the Sittingbourne Monday Football League was as riveting as ever, with the teams in Premier League, Division 1, 2, 3 and 4 battling it out with determination and spirit.
In the Premier League, MK Dongs secured a 3-1 victory over E Block, while Phoenix and Isle Of Bourne played out a closely contested 2-2 draw. Phoenix's formidable striker, Tom, added one more goal to his impressive tally, making him the division's top scorer.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Chubby Alonsos and Workout Wolfsburg emerged as winners against Goal Diggers FC and Beaver FC respectively. The latter game witnessed a thrilling 5-0 victory, with Ollie from Workout Wolfsburg netting 2 goals and becoming the top scorer in Division 1.
In Division 2, Youth Of Today made an impressive 4-0 triumph over Dyche Ball, while The Saints narrowly defeated Paralympiakos 1-0. Kian, from Youth of Today, shone brightly, scoring two goals, securing his place as the division's top scorer.
Division 3 saw Fat Boys Army squeeze a 1-0 victory against Chappers Utd, and a 2-2 draw in the KC Milan and CS FC match. The division's top scorer, Lewis from Fat Boys Army, added another goal to his tally.
Finally, in Division 4, Fleur De Lis overcame Saint Rhinos 2-0, while Florian Squirts and Leavemyarcelona drew 2-2, and Saint Jokerz tied 1-1 with Saint Eagles FC. Luke from Fleur De Lis was the standout player, scoring twice and earning himself the top scorer spot in Division 4.
Jamie Franks from Paralympiakos was the standout player across all divisions, earning the title of the week's Most Valued Player, thanks to his outstanding performance and commitment to the game. As we move into the next week, the excitement and stakes will undoubtedly continue to rise.
