In an exciting start to the Sittingbourne Monday Football League season, teams across five divisions clashed in fiercely competitive matches last night.

In the Premier League division, Phoenix triumphed over Chubby Alonsos with a 4-2 scoreline. The MK Dongs emerged victorious against Cunch Of Bunts FC with a 2-0 win, while Isle Of Bourne swept Goal Diggers FC under the rug with a massive 8-0 victory. Kane from Isle of Bourne outshone all players in the division by scoring four goals, earning the title of the top scorer of the week.

Division 1 saw Youth Of Today suffer a 0-2 defeat at the hands of E Block. Workout Wolfsburg and The Saints settled for a 2-2 draw, while Victorious Secret dominated Ticklers with a 3-0 victory. RJ from E Block, with 2 goals, emerged as the top scorer in this division.

In Division 2, KC Milan trounced Beaver FC 5-0 and FC Walnut stormed past Boshington FC with a 4-0 win. Expected Toulouse edged past Fat Boys Army with a 3-0 win. Sam Neale from FC Walnut was the top scorer, netting 2 goals.

Division 3 painted an intense picture with Paralympiakos and Chappers Utd ending in a 2-2 stalemate, while Fleur De Lis narrowly defeated Dyche Ball 2-1. Ashley Dmytruk from Fleur de lis scored a goal to become the division's top scorer this week.

In Division 4, FarmWood FC outperformed Saint Rhinos with a 4-0 win. Saint Reapers and Leavemyarcelona ended in a 2-2 draw as did Saint Jokerz and Saint Eagles FC. Luke from the Saint Reapers scored two goals to become the top scorer in this division.

As the season has just begun, each team has ample opportunity to climb the ranks in their respective divisions. The competition is just heating up, and football fans across the city are anticipating many more thrilling matches in the weeks to come.
