SITTINGBOURNE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS 24TH JANUARY 2022

All the latest news for the Sittingbourne Sunday 6 a side league direct from the Community College.

It was a great night of action with all teams in attendance as expected once again and playing some good football with plenty of goals being scored.

We had one incident in the match between Hala Madrid and Freezer FC with a player from Hala deciding to re-enter the field of play and make a slide tackle on the oppositions player when through on goal. this was also after the player had been red carded for abusing the referee. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated at our leagues and the player in question is now banned from playing at any of our leagues.

With so many goals being scored last night it is difficult to select one game that stands out but the closest match was between Slightly Athletic and MK Dongs which finished 2-1 to Athletic.

We are already looking forward to next weeks action in the Sittingbourne Sunday 6 a side league.
