The Sittingbourne Sunday six-a-side football league concluded this week, after an enthralling 14-week season. A nail-biting end to the season witnessed some exhilarating matches in the Premier League and Division 1 categories.

In the Premier League, Inter Row Z lost a hard-fought game to Backstreet Moyes with a close 1-2 scoreline. Callum, the league’s top scorer, managed to net one for Inter Row Z but couldn’t prevent the defeat. Unemployed FC suffered a heavy 1-6 loss against Classics FC, while Unathletico FC emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Whiteout. Sheppey Wednesday eked out a narrow 2-1 win against NetsixandChill.

The Premier League title was clinched by Whiteout after amassing an impressive total of 23 points from 11 wins. Their consistent performance throughout the season paid off, making them the deserved winners.

In Division 1, Misfits FC were defeated 2-4 by Barcaloners, while Bengali Bulldogs managed to edge past FC Bourne Knights by 3-2. 2 Pints Of Saga And A Packet Of Crisps recorded a slender 1-0 victory over The Saints. Ctrl+Goal ran rampant against Cheese James, scoring 8 goals without any response.
