Sunday 22nd March - Sittingbourne Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Sittingbourne Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions and some well competed matches played.

For the Premier League, the highlight of the night was the narrow victory of Sheppey Wednesday, who managed to secure a 2-1 win against Classics FC. In another thrilling encounter, Real Sociopath triumphed over Whiteout with a clean sheet of 2-0. Clubcard FC also showcased a solid performance against Murston Massive, with a victory of 2-0. The star player of the night was undoubtedly Ryan Bourner from Clubcard FC who scored both goals, becoming the top scorer in the Premier League division.

Meanwhile, Division 1 had its share of spectacular performances. Two Olds triumphed over AFC Cuckwood 4-2 in a riveting match. Saga displayed their dominance over Unathletico FC with a resounding 5-0 victory. Webbedfeet FC secured a hard-fought win over Apple Yard FC 4-2, and NetsixandChill outplayed Cheese James with a 4-1 win. The standout player in Division 1 was undoubtedly Ryan from NetsixandChill, who netted three goals, earning him the top scorer title for the division.
