It was an excellent evening's football in the Sittingbourne Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring Cheese James who return for the next round of fixtures.
Please note the league is cancelled for one week on Sunday 5th April due to the venue being closed for Easter. We return as normal on Sunday 12th April as per the fixtures listed online. We hope all teams have a great Easter break and look forward to seeing you when we return!
In the Premier league, Michu At De Gea Ba claimed a significant 2-0 victory against Clubcard FC. This match delivered an outstanding display of teamwork and strategy, earning Michu At De Gea Ba some much-deserved points. On another pitch, Whiteout showcased their football prowess against Murston Massive with an impressive 4-1 win. Harry, the star player from Whiteout, showed exceptional skill, rattling the back of the net twice and emerging as the top scorer in the division.
Meanwhile, in a gripping contest, Sheppey Wednesday and Real Sociopath locked horns in a fiercely contested match that ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving both teams sharing the points.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Apple Yard FC dominated NetsixandChill in a masterful 5-0 victory, solidifying their standing in the league. Webbedfeet FC also demonstrated their footballing prowess, outperforming Unathletico FC with a 4-1 win. Kie Poole was the standout player in this match, scoring a hat trick for Webbedfeet FC and earning him the top scorer title in Division 1.
The only other match in Division 1 saw Two Olds narrowly secure a 1-0 win over Saga, in what was an intensely close contest.
