It was another excellent evening's football in the Sittingbourne Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring two. Netsix and Chill and Long Eeenik will be spoken to accordingly.
In the Premier League, the opening week saw an electrifying draw between Whiteout and Classics FC, with both teams scoring 3 goals apiece. Fans held their breath as the two teams went head-to-head and finally finished the game with equal scores, setting the bar high for the upcoming matches of the season. On another match, Sheppey Wednesday and Clubcard FC also ended their game in a draw, both securing a single goal. Meanwhile, Michu at De Gea Ba narrowly triumphed over Murston Massive in a tense match, scoring 2 against 1. The star of the night was undoubtedly Charlie Coomder from Michu at De Gea Ba, who emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League division, contributing 2 goals for his team.
In Division 1, the teams were equally competitive. Unathletico FC began their season on a high note, winning their match against AFC Cuckwood with a single goal. Two Olds and Apple Yard FC offered a thrilling show, ending the match with a 2-2 draw. In another match, Cheese James proved their supremacy with a 1-0 win over Saga.
