LEAGUE CANCELLED FOR ONE WEEK ON MONDAY 6TH MAY

A good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week to kick off the new season.

In the Premier League division, Texas Oldham drew 2-2 with Châteauneuf-du-Pape in a tense and evenly matched game. Meanwhile, Pickle Pinchers managed to edge out CWLC FC 2-1 in a nail-biting match. The most thrilling encounter of the Premier League, however, was between Phoenix and Daddy Ben, with Daddy Ben narrowly winning 3-2.

In Division 1, Woodgreen FC succumbed to Class On Artificial Grass by a 2-1 margin. Sporting Abeergut lost 3-1 to Full Kit Yankers, and GSE managed to scrape past Salty Sea-Men with a 1-0 victory. The most high-scoring match of the night was between Monner Athletic and Inter Ya Nan, with the latter registering an emphatic 11-3 win.

In the Division 2 category, Unathletico Madrid and Backstreet Moyes battled it out to a goalless draw. Real SoSoBad triumphed over Chunk And The 7 Dwarves with a staggering 9-4 win. Purkinje Fibres scored a 3-0 victory over Exeter Gently, while Pepe Pig defeated Gully Boys 9-3 in a thrilling encounter.

As the season has just started, there is all to play for in the coming weeks. Notably, the top scorers for each division will surely be ones to watch. With such high-scoring games in the opening week, this season promises to deliver yet more excitement, competition, and top-notch football. Stay tuned for next week's round of matches.
