Premier Division:

The opening game week of the new campaign in the Leisure Leagues Worcester Sixways Monday 6-a-side league was an action-packed affair. The Premier Division kicked off with Pickle Pinchers taking on Class on Artificial Grass. The Pinchers were hoping to relish the taste of victory, but Class on Artificial Grass had other plans. They displayed exceptional skill and finesse, scoring four goals to leave the Pickle Pinchers in quite a pickle with a final scoreline of 4-0.


Meanwhile, another Premier Division matchup saw What Team Name face off against Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It was a battle of determination and artistry on the artificial turf. What Team Name showed their mettle by securing a well-deserved 4-2 victory, leaving their opponents swirling in the whirlwind of defeat.


Sporting Abeergut and Clash of Dudes engaged in an epic showdown that had fans on the edge of their seats. Both teams showcased their athleticism and beergut-level determination. In a high-scoring encounter, Clash of Dudes emerged triumphant with a 4-2 victory, proving that they were the kings of the clash.


Division One:

The matches in Division One brought forth an evening of nail-biting finishes and closely contested battles. Texas Oldham took on Daddy Ben, and the stage was set for a showdown reminiscent of a Texas hit song. In a match filled with twists and turns, Texas Oldham managed to hit the right notes and secured a 2-1 victory, leaving Daddy Ben singing a bluesy tune.

Division Two:

In a battle of the underdogs, Chunk and the 7 Dwarves proved to be a formidable force, scoring four goals to claim a 4-2 victory. Unathletico Madrid may have felt a bit dwarfed, but they vowed to rise to the occasion next time.


Night Shift faced off against Meat Batch, and the night was illuminated by Night Shift's stellar performance. They worked tirelessly, scoring goal after goal, and eventually secured a convincing 4-1 victory. Meat Batch may have been left tenderized, but they promised to come back stronger in the next round.


Plunger & Superglue took on Indra in a game that displayed contrasting styles of play.
