Monday 13th June - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled throughout the night, and some excellent games played across all three divisions.

Woodgreen's season got off and running in fine style this week as they beat last seasons third placed finishers Tics on Toure by 6 goals to 2.  Nobody has won their opening two in the top division, the current top two for what it is worth at this stage, Phoenix and Chateuneuf Du Pape shared the spoils in a thrilling 4-4 draw, whilst new boys Pickle Pinchers followed up last weeks draw with a 9-1 thrashing of Jewventus.  Newly promoted Rodallega Bombs were winners of a 12 goal thriller as they overcame Greyhound FC by 8 goals to 4.

Newly promoted General Sports Enthusiasts got their second win on the spin this week, they were 2-0 winners against Inter Ya Nan who were beaten for the second outing in a row.  Goals Aloud also got their second win to sit second, they were 7-3 winners over ABCDE FC, they are joined on maximum points by Who Ate All Depays who overcame Route One Rovers 3-2.  Hayley Beanie Boys got their first win of the campaign since promotion, they were 5-1 victors against Crouch Potatoes.

Salty Sea-Men followed last weeks 5-3 win with a 5-2 win this week, as they overcame We Lose Evra Week to continue their goal scoring exploits.  Nomers were 4-3 winners over Balt-J FC to make it back to back wins for themselves, they sit in second place.  Malvern Massive got their season up and running with a 3-2 win over Plunger and Superglue this week whilst Bendtner Over and Rybrook Raiders shared the spoils in a thrilling 6-6 draw.
