Monday 15th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night once again and some entertaining football played once again.

Phoenix lead the way in the Premier Division and moved three points clear of Tics on Toure this week after beating them by a 4-1 margin.  That result allowed Baines on Toast to move into second place and above Tics, as they thrashed Shamgwop Rovers 7-2.  Moyes N The Hood secured their first win of the campaign as they edged past Woodgreen FC by a 3-2 scoreline, whilst Crouch Potato's winless run extends into a fifth week as they were soundly beaten by a 5-1 scoreline against Lower Wick Lemons.

Route One Rovers stay at the top of Division One and before kick off this was a meeting of the top two.  They edged past Woo Town Wanderers by a 2-1 scoreline, allowing Chateuneuf Du Pape to move into second place, just goal difference keeping them off the top, following their impressive 6-0 win against We Lose Evra Week.  Green Army moved up to fifth spot following a 3-1 win over Inter Ya Nan, whilst Six Offenders picked up their first win since joining, by a 3-0 margin against Plunger and Superglue.

Goals Aloud continue their impressive start to the campaign in Division Two, a fourth win out of five played being a comprehensive 8-0 scoreline over Werder Beermen.  HayleysBeanie's Boys stay just a point off the pace though, as they secured a 2-0 victory against Nomers.  Who Ate All Depays sit in third and fourth place following their respective 3-0 and 2-0 wins.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier provider of small sided football.
