Monday 16th September - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions..

In the Premier League, tension ran high as Châteauneuf-du-Pape was locked in a goalless draw against Salty Sea-Men. Class On Artificial Grass fell to Pickle Pinchers in a closely fought match, finishing 2-1 in favour of the Pinchers. Phoenix and Brap FC faced off in a thrilling 3-3 draw that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The highlight of the evening was the high-scoring showdown between FUEGO F.C. and Texas Oldham, ending in an 8-5 victory for Texas Oldham.

Over in Division 1, GSE succumbed to a narrow 2-1 defeat against Purkinje Fibres. Pepe Pig and Daddy Ben grappled in a tense stalemate, with neither team able to break the deadlock. Full Kit Yankers lost to Woodgreen FC by a single goal, whereas We Lose Evra Week edged out 2goals1cup in a tense 3-2 victory.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Gully Boys beat Is Your Motherwell 3-2 in a thrilling match. Monner Athletic secured a 4-3 win over Inter Ya Nan, while Exeter Gently fell short in a high-octane clash against Choppy Fellas, ending in a 5-4 defeat. The final match of the day saw Chunk And The 7 Dwarves hold Unathletico Madrid to a 2-2 draw.
