Monday 17th June - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches, the only exceptions being Monner Athletic and Brap FC who gave 7 days notice due to holidays, but return on Monday 24th June.

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape bested Texas Oldham with a score of 2-1. CWLC FC and Pickle Pinchers ended in a draw with a score of 1-1. Phoenix showed dominance over Daddy Ben with a smashing victory of 4-0. As the competition progresses, Phoenix is showing strong potential to become this season's frontrunners.

Moving on to Division 1, Class On Artificial Grass emerged victorious over Woodgreen FC by scoring 3-1. Sporting Abeergut showed their might against Full Kit Yankers, winning the game 3-0. GSE also took home a win against Salty Sea-Men with a comfortable score of 3-1. It was clear that Sporting Abeergut and GSE are becoming the teams to watch in this division.

In Division 2, Unathletico Madrid managed to secure a narrow victory over Backstreet Moyes with a score of 1-0. Real SoSoBad won the duel against Chunk And The 7 Dwarves with a score of 3-2. Purkinje Fibres outplayed Exeter Gently 3-0 while Pepe Pig proved their dominance with a thumping 7-0 victory against Gully Boys, becoming this division's top scorer.
