Monday 19th February - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance across the three divisions as scheduled and some well competed matches played.

In the Premier League, Phoenix rose to the occasion, leaving Sporting Abeergut trailing with a scoreline of 6-1. Other matches saw What Team Name and Class On Artificial Grass come to a tense 4-4 draw. Daddy Ben narrowly overtook Châteauneuf-du-Pape with 2-1, while Brap FC secured a decisive victory over Monday Knights, ending the game at 4-1.

Over in Division 1, CWLC FC blanked Woodgreen FC 4-0, showing impressive form. Pepe Pig and Inter Ya Nan shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, while Salty Sea-Men sailed to a comfortable 3-0 victory against Crouch Potato. A nail-biting match between Texas Oldham and Full Kit Yankers saw the former walking away with a 3-2 win.

In Division 2, Unathletico Madrid and Backstreet Moyes both emerged victorious, winning their games 2-0 against Uow Futsal 2 and Chunk And The 7 Dwarves respectively. Real SoSoBad triumphed over GSE with a 4-2 scoreline, and Monner Athletic clinched a narrow victory over Indra, ending the match at 1-0.
