Monday 20th April - Worcester Round-Up

Another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring a cancellation from Daddy Ben who are due to return next week.

In the Premier League, Gruppo Select secured a hard-fought victory against Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a 1-0 win. The Phoenix team rose from the ashes to secure a 3-0 victory against Woodgreen FC, and Salty Sea-Men managed to fend off Stroke Titty with a close 2-1 win.

Over in Division 1, Full Kit Yankers displayed an exceptional performance, defeating BTD 8-0. Molester City also showed their dominance with a 5-0 win over Cathedral Cheese AFC. Not to be outdone, Pepe Pig edged past UTR FC 4-2 and Unathletico Madrid rounded out the night with a solid 3-0 victory over Scorgasms.

Division 2 was not short on excitement, as City Boys and Formation Unknown delivered a 12-goal thriller, with City Boys coming out on top 7-5. GSE managed to overcome DuckDo FC 4-1, Tupsley FCC beat Indian Park 5-2, and Net-six N Chill cooled Smeggy Hole FC's hopes with an 8-0 triumph.

As the Worcester Monday Football League moves into its fourth week, the action is heating up. Each division has its standout teams, but with plenty of matches still left to play, the trophy is anyone’s to win.
