Monday 20th November - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football once again in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions for game week 9 of the season.

In the Premier League division, the game of the night saw Athletico Pathetico edge past Daddy Ben with a 2-1 victory. A hard-fought draw between Phoenix and Class On Artificial Grass followed, with both teams scoring one goal each. However, the shock of the night came when Clash Of Dudes trounced Pepe Pig 10-1 in an emphatic display of dominance. Closing the Premier League's night, Texas Oldham succumbed to a heavy 5-1 defeat against What Team Name.

Division 1 showcased some strong performances. Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivered a solid 4-0 victory over Inter Ya Nan, while Uow Futsal 2 played a thrilling 4-4 draw against GSE. Salty Sea-Men secured a convincing 4-2 win against Full Kit Yankers, and Woodgreen FC rounded off the night with a 2-0 win over Sporting Abeergut.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, games were marked by high scoring encounters. CWLC FC secured a slender victory over Backstreet Moyes with a 7-5 scoreline, while Crouch Potato delivered a surprise 6-2 victory against Indra. Chunk And The 7 Dwarves triumphed over Monner Athletic with a 3-1 victory, and Unathletico Madrid dominated Hardly Athletic with a whopping 8-1 win.
