Monday 21st March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring a late cancellation from We Lose Evra Week, and a non-attendance from Rybrook Raiders, both of which will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Monday 28th March.

After playing out their withdrawal notice, Gerryhattricks have now been removed from the league.  We thank them for their time in the league and hope to see them return in future.

The above gives us ONE AVAILABLE SPACE in the league for a limited time!  Sign up today to avoid disappointment and reserve your place for an immediate start!  We will call you once a completed application form is received to confirm details of your first fixture time!  If you have any queries before joining you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.

It remains tight at the top of the Premier Division with a single point now separating four teams!  Phoenix stay top although the gap is closing as they suffered a 4-2 reverse at the hands of Shamgwop Rovers who moved up to third space.  Tics on Toure moved into second spot as they won a ten goal thriller against Chateuneuf Du Pape by a 6-4 score line, whilst Gateshead drop two places to fourth after a 4-2 defeat to Woodgreen who moved a point closer to escaping the relegation zone, as Route One Rovers above them were beaten 5-3 by Crouch Potato in another entertaining match!

Greyhound United moved into second place and leapfrogged Goals Aloud in the process after beating them convincingly by 4 goals to 1, whilst Who Ate All Depays moved up a place to fourth after a big 9-2 win over Bendtner Over.  ABCDE FC also moved up a place to fifth as they ran out 4-1 winners against Inter Ya Nan.

In Division Two, Hayley Beanie Boys dropped a place to second as they were held to a draw for the first time this season, as their game against Plunger and Superglue ended 2 a piece.  Malvern Massive remain in fifth place after a convincing 6-1 win over Gerry Hat Tricks, whilst Nomers moved 2 points clear of Balt-J FC after a 5-0 thrashing of their opposition this week.

We wish all teams the best of luck going into next weeks matches with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
