Monday 22nd January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 24 teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, Class On Artificial Grass secured a 2-0 victory against Phoenix, marking a strong start to their season. A high-intensity match between What Team Name and Châteauneuf-du-Pape saw the latter team emerge as winners with a 3-1 score line. Daddy Ben managed a narrow victory against Athletico Pathetico with a final score of 2-1. However, the standout performance in this division came from Monday Knights who displayed their dominance with a 5-1 win over Sporting Abeergut.

Over in Division 1, CWLC FC showcased an impressive display of offensive prowess, steamrolling Crouch Potato with a 7-0 win. A tense match between Woodgreen FC and Pepe Pig ended in a goalless draw. Texas Oldham also put on an excellent performance, scoring an impressive 8 goals against Inter Ya Nan's 3. The division ended the week with Full Kit Yankers and Salty Sea-Men locked in a 2-2 draw.

Last but not the least, Division 2 saw Backstreet Moyes succumb to a 2-0 defeat against GSE. Uow Futsal 2 and Indra ended their match in a 1-1 draw, while Chunk And The 7 Dwarves were bested by Monner Athletic with a final score of 4-2. A thrilling match between Unathletico Madrid and Real SoSoBad resulted in a 4-4 draw, rounding off a highly competitive week of football.
