Monday 23rd February - Worcester Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

We welcome new team Only Matip In to the league as a replacement for the outgoing Flue-Minense and wish these good luck going into their first game on Monday 2nd March.

In the Premier League, the match between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Phoenix ended in a goalless draw, while Salty Sea-Men narrowly defeated Pepe Pig 1-0. The highest scoring fixture of the night saw Woodgreen FC trouncing Formation Unknown with a resounding 7-1 victory. Meanwhile, Is Your Motherwell secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Daddy Ben.

Over in Division 1, Flue-Minense couldn't keep pace with Gruppo Select, who claimed a decisive 5-0 triumph. Stroke Titty outplayed Scorgasms 6-2, and Unathletico Madrid managed to scrape past Net-six N Chill with a 3-2 scoreline. Full Kit Yankers dominated Indian Park in the division's highest-scoring match, recording an impressive 15-2 win.

Lastly, in Division 2, Cathedral Cheese AFC overpowered Smeggy Hole FC 9-1 while Tupsley FCC beat Purkinje Fibres 6-2. UTR FC emerged victorious over City Boys 4-2 and DuckDo FC squeezed past GSE 4-3.
