Monday 23rd October - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance across the three divisions as scheduled, and some excellent matches played throughout the night.

In the prestigious Premier League, Athletico Pathetico clinched a nail-biting victory over Pepe Pig winning 4-3. Phoenix soared over Texas Oldham with a score of 4-2, showcasing their dominance in the league. Daddy Ben stunned spectators with a 5-2 win over What Team Name, while Clash Of Dudes outclassed the Class On Artificial Grass with a clean sweep of 4-0.

Division 1 was no less gripping. Châteauneuf-du-Pape edged out Salty Sea-Men 4-3, in a contest that had spectators on the edge of their seats. In an evenly fought battle, Uow Futsal 2 and Sporting Abeergut ended with a 2-2 draw. Woodgreen FC stole the limelight with a 6-0 triumph over Inter Ya Nan. GSE secured a clean sheet against Full Kit Yankers, winning 2-0.

In Division 2, Monner Athletic's performance was a masterclass, annihilating Backstreet Moyes 6-0. Cats On Bikes pounced on Indra with a scoreline of 4-0. CWLC FC ensured a comfortable win over Unathletico Madrid with a 3-0 score. Crouch Potato managed to outscore Chunk And The 7 Dwarves 4-2.

Despite several outstanding performances, the top scorers for each division were the real showstoppers. In the Premier League, Daddy Ben led the pack, while in Division 1, Woodgreen FC's performance was unmatched. Meanwhile, in Division 2, Monner Athletic took the crown with their blistering offense.
