Monday 23rd September - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions as scheduled, and some well competed games played once again.

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape dominated the pitch with a decisive 4-0 victory over Texas Oldham. Displaying superior ball control and strategic play, they were the uncontested top scorers of the evening. The match between Phoenix and Class On Artificial Grass saw Phoenix triumph with a commanding 5-1 win. Brap FC and Salty Sea-Men battled it out resulting in a 2-2 draw, while Pickle Pinchers laid down the law against Fuego Fc with a colossal 9-2 win, marking them as the top scorers in this division for the week.

Moving to Division 1, GSE emerged victorious with a clean 5-0 win over 2goals1cup, claiming the top scorer's title in this division. Pepe Pig outclassed We Lose Evra Week with a convincing 4-1 victory. Full Kit Yankers narrowly defeated Purkinje Fibres 3-2 in a hotly contested match, while Daddy Ben sealed a clear 2-0 win over Woodgreen FC.

In Division 2, Chunk And The 7 Dwarves outplayed Choppy Fellas with a 5-1 win. Inter Ya Nan bested Unathletico Madrid 5-3 in a closely fought match. Exeter Gently secured a smooth 2-0 victory against Is Your Motherwell, while Gully Boys dominated Monner Athletic with a 5-1 win, landing them as the top scorers for this division.
