Monday 25th October - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league at Sixways Stadium, with all teams in attendance for their fixtures throughout the night and some excellent matches played across all three divisions.

After playing out their 2 weeks notice '2 Girls 1 Klopp' have withdrawn from the league due to a lack of players.  We thank them for their time in the league and hope to see them return in future.

Tics on Toure, Phoenix and Baines on Toast made it 2 wins from 2 in their matches this week to continue their impressive starts to the campaign.  Tics sit top of the pile following their 3-1 win over Woodgreen, whilst Phoenix were 4-2 winners over Lower Wick Lemons, and Baines won 2-0 against Moyes N the Hood.  Shamgwop rounded off the weeks action with a 6-2 hammering of Crouch Potato.

Division One sees Woo Town Wanderers sit top with 2 wins from two, Route One Rovers drop to second after they shared the spoils with Inter Ya Nan in an entertaining 3-3 draw.  Chateuneuf Du Pape edged past Plunger & Superglue by a single goal to move up to third place, whilst We Lose Evra Week responded to last weeks 2-0 defeat with a 2-0 win over Green Army.

Goals Aloud sit pretty at the top of Division Two on maximum points, they are the only team with 2 wins in a row, whilst the rest of the division could not be separated.  Hayley's Beanie Boys drew 1-1 with Balt-J FC, with General Sports Enthusiasts drawing with the outgoing 2 Goals 1 Klopp by the same scoreline.  Who Ate All Depays and Werder Beermen played out an entertaining game too, they shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

We currently have limited team spaces available in this league at present!  Sign up today to avoid disappointment and get started straight away!  We are offering FREE ENTRY WORTH £25 to the next team who signs up, so join today and get playing on Monday!
