Monday 25th September - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week which saw the opening night of the new season get underway in good fashion, with all teams attending barring Scoregasm.  They have now been removed from the league.

We welcome new team The Outcasts to the league as a replacement for the above and wish these good luck in their debut game on Monday 2nd October as they line up in Division Two.

In the Premier League, we were treated to a thrilling encounter between What Team Name and Athletico Pathetico, with What Team Name taking the victory in a 4-2 win. Meanwhile, Clash Of Dudes started their season strongly by blanking Texas Oldham 4-0. Class On Artificial Grass showed their finesse by winning 3-0 against Pepe Pig. Phoenix soared high with a 3-0 victory over Daddy Ben.

The action in Division 1 was just as electrifying. Châteauneuf-du-Pape emerged victorious over Woodgreen FC with a 3-1 win. Sporting Abeergut and Full Kit Yankers delivered a nail-biting match, with Sporting  ultimately coming out on top with a 5-2 scoreline. Salty Sea-Men and Inside England V2 had a closely fought contest that ended 4-2 in favor of Salty Sea-Men. Inter Ya Nan completed the action for the division as they secured a decisive 6-0 victory against Madeline Milan.

In Division 2, Unathletico Madrid started strong with a 5-1 win over Backstreet Moyes. Monner Athletic narrowly edged out Crouch Potato in a 3-2 thriller, and CWLC FC left no room for doubt with a resounding 6-0 victory against Indra.
