Monday 26th February - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions, the only exception being Crouch Potatoes who gave 7 days notice and return to action on Monday 4th March.

In the Premier League division, "What Team Name" narrowly triumphed over "Monday Knights" with a suspenseful 4-3 victory. "Sporting Abeergut" beat "Daddy Ben" 4-2 while "Phoenix" managed to edge out "Brap FC" 2-1. A captivating draw was witnessed between "Class On Artificial Grass" and "Châteauneuf-du-Pape" with both teams scoring 2 goals each.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, CWLC FC emerged victorious against "Pepe Pig" with a remarkable 6-1 scoreline. "Woodgreen FC" clinched a close match against "Full Kit Yankers" with a 3-2 win, and "Salty Sea-Men" managed to defeat "Inter Ya Nan" 2-1 in a tightly contested match.

On the other hand, the combats of Division 2 saw "Backstreet Moyes" defeating "Indra" 5-3. "Monner Athletic" came out on top against "GSE" with a 2-0 win. "Real SoSoBad" and "Uow Futsal 2" ended their match in a 1-1 draw, while "Unathletico Madrid" overcame "Chunk And The 7 Dwarves" 2-1.
