The Premier Division matches in the Leisure Leagues Worcester Sixways Monday 6-a-side League were a display of skill, determination, and some exciting pun-worthy team names. Despite the absence of a couple of teams, the action on the pitch was intense and full of surprises.

Pickle Pinchers and What Team Name had a close encounter, but it was What Team Name who snatched victory with a narrow 5-4 scoreline. Pickle Pinchers put up a valiant fight, but last season's Division One champions were relentless in their pursuit of victory.

In a matchup between General Sports Enthusiasts and Class on Artificial Grass, it was the latter who emerged triumphant with a 2-1 scoreline. The newly promoted team showed their class and determination, securing their third win in a row and making a strong statement for the season ahead.


Moving on to Division One, Salty Sea-Men faced off against Woodgreen FC, and it was Salty Sea-Men who came out on top with a hard-fought 4-3 victory. Despite the loss, Woodgreen FC maintained their lead at the top of the table, alongside two other teams with four points each.

Monner Athletic proved their athletic prowess as they defeated Inter Ya Nan with a confident 2-0 scoreline. The victory showcased their disciplined approach and solid teamwork, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.

The match between Texas Oldham and Crouch Potato was a true spectacle, with a staggering 7-7 draw. The goals came thick and fast, and both teams gave their all in an entertaining battle in the summer sun.

Inside England V2 continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Daddy Ben. It was a well-deserved triumph for Inside England V2, who showcased their determination and skill on the pitch.


In Division Two, Scoregasm put on an impressive performance, defeating Chunk and the 7 Dwarves with a solid 5-2 victory. The team displayed excellent chemistry and coordination, climaxing in a well-deserved win.

Night Shift faced off against Full Kit Yankers, who emerged victorious with a close 2-1 scoreline. Full Kit Yankers' consistent performance throughout the season earned them the top spot in the division, with two wins and a draw to their name.

Plunger & Superglue and Unathletico Madrid engaged in a thrilling encounter that ended in a high-scoring 5-5 draw. Both teams demonstrated resilience and determination, resulting in a nail-biting match that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

As the league entered game week 4, the teams were commended for their commitment and reliability. The absence of a Meat Batch was disappointing, but their place has been filled by new team Madeleine Milan, who we welcome to the league and wish luck in their upcoming debut game on July 3rd.
