Monday 27th November - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring Pepe Pig who cancelled but return to action on Monday 4th December, and a late arrival from UOW Futsal who attended for a 7:40pm game rather than 7pm!  They also return as normal next week.

In the Premier League, Athletico Pathetico secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Texas Oldham in a tightly contested match. The match was a perfect showcase of both teams' defensive prowess, with Athletico Pathetico turning the tide in their favor with a late goal. Meanwhile, Clash Of Dudes and Phoenix played out a thrilling 6-6 draw, a true testament to their offensive strengths. In another tightly contested battle, Class On Artificial Grass emerged victorious by a slender margin, defeating Daddy Ben 2-1.

Over in Division 1, Châteauneuf-du-Pape edged out Sporting Abeergut with a 4-3 victory in a nail-biting encounter. Woodgreen FC secured a 2-1 victory against Salty Sea-Men in a closely contested match, while Inter Ya Nan displayed their offensive powerhouse, defeating GSE 6-2.

In Division 2, Backstreet Moyes outperformed Hardly Athletic in a 4-3 victory, Unathletico Madrid won a defensive masterclass against Monner Athletic with a 1-0 victory, and Chunk And The 7 Dwarves and Indra played to a 1-1 draw in an evenly contested match. In the last match of the division, Crouch Potato secured a 2-1 win over CWLC FC.
