Monday 30th October - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

An excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league was enjoyed by all this week, as all 24 teams attended their scheduled fixtures across all three divisions, with some well competed matches played throughout the night, and a couple of big score lines in the mix too!

In the esteemed Premier League, Clash Of Dudes triumphed over Athletico Pathetico with a commanding 4-0 victory, demonstrating their high level of skill and coordination. What Team Name and Class On Artificial Grass played a tightly contested match that ended with the narrowest of wins for What Team Name at 6-5. In another evenly matched game, Texas Oldham and Daddy Ben ended with a 3-3 tie. However, the most remarkable result of the evening came from Phoenix, who displayed a superior performance with a crushing 11-0 win over Pepe Pig.

Moving to Division 1, Châteauneuf-du-Pape were narrowly edged out by Full Kit Yankers with a scoreline of 2-3. Woodgreen FC maintained a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over GSE. Sporting Abeergut secured a close victory against Inter Ya Nan with a 3-2 score. Salty Sea-Men proved their dominance in the division with an impressive 10-2 victory over Uow Futsal 2.

In Division 2, Chunk And The 7 Dwarves scored a convincing win over Backstreet Moyes with a 5-2 result. Unathletico Madrid faced a tough defeat against Crouch Potato, losing by six goals to nil. Cats On Bikes reigned supreme over CWLC FC with a 4-1 victory, and Monner Athletic demolished Indra with a whopping 9-0 win.
