Monday 4th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football as ever in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, the only exceptions being cancellations from UOW Worcester Futsal, and Indra, who return to action on Monday 11th March.

In the Premier League, the match between Daddy Ben and Phoenix ended with Phoenix securing a decisive 2-0 victory. In another thrilling encounter, What Team Name triumphed over Brap FC with an 8-5 score. Meanwhile, Monday Knights blanked Châteauneuf-du-Pape 4-0, demonstrating their defensive prowess. Lastly, in an intense battle, Class On Artificial Grass beat Sporting Abeergut 3-1, attributing their victory to superior teamwork and strategy.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, CWLC FC won against Salty Sea-Men 4-2 in a high-stakes battle. Inter Ya Nan narrowly defeated Crouch Potato 3-2 in a nail-biting match. In a competitive game, Texas Oldham secured a 4-2 win over Woodgreen FC. Rounding out the division, Full Kit Yankers outplayed Pepe Pig 4-1, further cementing their place in the league.

In Division 2, Chunk And The 7 Dwarves emerged victorious over Real SoSoBad with a 3-1 score. The match between Backstreet Moyes and Unathletico Madrid ended with Backstreet Moyes securing a narrow 1-0 victory.

We welcome new team Inter Row Z into the league for the matches on Monday 11th March, wishing these good luck in their debut game in Division One as they replace the outgoing Crouch Potato.
