Monday 8th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring two cancellations.  We welcome back UOW Worcester and Hardly Athletic for the new season on Monday 15th January.


In the Premier League division, Phoenix outperformed Athletico Pathetico with an impressive 5-0 win. Leading the pack with 23 points and ten wins, Phoenix confidently secured its place as the division champion. The intense match between What Team Name and Clash Of Dudes ended in a thrilling tie of 4-4, displaying an excellent showcase of teamwork and strategy from both sides.


Over in Division 1, Châteauneuf-du-Pape proved their dominance with a remarkable 13 wins and 26 points, securing the top position in their division. Salty Sea-Men and Sporting Abeergut delivered an impressive performance with 7-0 and 4-2 victories respectively, while Full Kit Yankers defeated Woodgreen FC 4-0.


Division 2 was not without its share of intense matches. CWLC FC emerged as the division champion with 24 points and 12 wins. Their impressive 4-0 victory over Monner Athletic was a testament to their superior strategy and teamwork. Backstreet Moyes and Unathletico Madrid also registered victories with 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.
