Monday 9th February - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week.  We were however disappointed to see non-attendances from two teams.  Both Premature Scoregasm and Marinakis have been removed from the league.

In the Premier League, Salty Sea-Men triumphed over Châteauneuf-du-Pape in a nail-bitingly close 1-0 victory. Elsewhere, Phoenix rose high to secure a 2-0 win against Woodgreen FC. The night’s most electrifying match, however, was a display of sheer skill and determination between Daddy Ben and Pepe Pig – a thrilling encounter that ended 3-2 in favor of Daddy Ben. An astounding performance also came from Is Your Motherwell, who roared to a spectacular 12-0 victory over Formation Unknown.

Turning to Division 1, Stroke Titty displayed a powerful performance, outscoring Flue-Minense 13-3. Unathletico Madrid and Gruppo Select battled to a pulsating 3-3 draw, while Full Kit Yankers routed Scorgasms 7-0. The night's biggest victory, however, belongs to Net-six N Chill who outperformed Indian Park by a wide margin of 12-1.

In Division 2, Smeggy Hole FC dispatched UTR FC with a commanding 4-1 win while Purkinje Fibres scored an impressive 4-1 victory against DuckDo FC.

As the league moves into its ninth week, the competition only seems to be intensifying, with all teams ardently fighting to clinch the top spot in their respective divisions. It's clear that fans are in for a treat as the Worcester Monday Football League continues to deliver thrilling action-packed football.
