Monday 9th June - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

In the Premier League division, the match between Pepe Pig and Châteauneuf-du-Pape saw a significant goal difference. Châteauneuf-du-Pape dominated the game with a staggering 8-1 victory over Pepe Pig, while Woodgreen FC edged past RR FC with a 2-1 win. In a stark contrast, Phoenix and Class On Artificial Grass played a goalless draw, and Weatherbeaver FC outclassed Bumfica with a 14-1 victory, setting the record for the highest scoring game of the night.

In Division 1, Full Kit Yankers secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Daddy Ben. GSE won against SJL 6s with a scoreline of 2-1. Is Your Motherwell managed to defeat Salty Sea-Men 3-2 in a closely fought contest. Purkinje Fibres also kept their winning streak going with a 2-1 win over UTR FC.

In the Division 2 matches, FC Past It triumphed over Alright Drive in a 3-2 showdown. Ashton FC outperformed Intern Milan with a 5-2 win. Monner Athletic won against We Lose Evra Week with a 3-1 scoreline. The Salt Men and Unathletico Madrid ended in a 2-2 draw, keeping the excitement alive for their next encounter.
