Monday 9th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape edged out Pepe Pig in a high-scoring match, 5-4. The fast-paced game of Phoenix saw them blank Formation Unknown 6-0. Salty Sea-Men kept a clean sheet against Is Your Motherwell with a 3-0 win. In an evenly contested game, Woodgreen FC and Daddy Ben shared points with a 2-2 draw.

The Division 1 matches were equally competitive. Molester City and Scorgasms tied with 1-1. Gruppo Select managed to claim a victory over Net-six N Chill with a 5-3 win. Stroke Titty took control over the match against Indian Park, winning 6-2. Unathletico Madrid and Full Kit Yankers split points with a 3-3 draw.

Over in Division 2, Cathedral Cheese AFC just managed to scrape past Purkinje Fibres with a narrow 4-3 win. The game between Smeggy Hole FC and City Boys ended in a goalless draw. Tupsley FCC had a promising victory over GSE, finishing the match 6-1. UTR FC triumphed over DuckDo FC with a 5-2 victory.
